- Chris Barnett Review added: 2018.11.06★ ★ ★ ★ ★Was there on a Monday evening with half price offer on. So ate and drank very well. Food was great and good variety of good bottled ales. Quiet as well so plenty of space for our little one to walk around whilst waiting for the food. Service good too. Not the classiest place but really enjoyed it here.

Only had two members of staff working on the incredibly busy bar which meant that waiting times to get a drink were 20min plus. That was made even more frustrating by the fact that the manager was stood by the bar doing nothing. The food was really good however and they opened a small pop up bar upstairs for us which redeemed it slightly, however if we wanted draught beer or a cocktail we had to go downstairs and get stuck in the bar queue. Would be 5 stars if the manager had the hindsight to put a couple more bar staff on what was bound to be a very busy evening.
